Please download that zip file:
sceneryfiles.zip
This zip file contains a folder called sceneryfiles.
Please copy the content of the folder into the "scenery" folder of the austrianairports2.
You can find this folder normally here:
C:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\FSQuality\austrianairports2\scenery
That is where the content (the 6 *.bgl files, not the folder itself) of the "sceneryfiles" folder goes.
(that sceneryfiles folder you just downloaded, that means)
I want to remove the static Airliners. How is that done?
This is how you can do it:
Look for the "scenery" folders of your austrianairports volumes.
The adress is somewhat like here:
C:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\FSQuality\austrianairports1\scenery
In that folders there are a lot of *.bgl files.
Now look for the following files and rename them like described below:
viestair.bgl
LOWI_stat.bgl
sastat_3.bgl
klagstfl.bgl
rename that files into (with a left mouseclick and F2) :
viestair.Backup
LOWI_stat.Backup
sastat_3.Backup
klagstfl.Backup
After that the static airliners are gone.
I want to remove the Vienna / Schwechat scenery. How is that done?
This is how that is done:
Look for the "scenery" folders of your austrianairports volumes.
The adress is somewhat like here:

In that folders there are a lot of *.bgl files.
Now look for the following files and rename them like described below:

I don't have any austrian airports - flights (situations)?
Please donwload the two zip files below:

AustrianAirports2.zip
Both zip files contain a folder.
One folder is called AustrianAirports1, the other AustrianAirports2.
Please copy these folders (with their content) into the Flights folder of the FS9:
C:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Flights\
When this is done you will have categories of that name in the select a flight menue.

For my taste the grass textures of the airfields are too "green". What can I do?
There are alternative textures available with a less intense color. Please donwload that file:
alternativebodentexturen.zip
This zip file contains a folder with textures that is called "alternativebodentexturen".
Please copy the content of that folder (some bmp's) into the "texture" folders of your austrianairports volumes.

For Salzburg please load down the following files:

Copy both files into the "scenery" folder of the austrianairports 2.

I have in Innsbruck a strange small red building near the Rwy. Can I remove it?
The small red house originates from another scenery that is installed on your system.
To remove it load down the following file:
innrohex_exc.bgl
This file goes into the "scenery" folder of the austrianairports vol. 2
C:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\FSQuality\austrianairports2\scenery
With that file in your folder, the red house is removed.
I want to remove the polygon highway in Voeslau (LOAV). How is this done?
This is how it works:
Go to your "scenery" folder of the austrianairports 1 (C:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\FSQuality\austrianairports1\scenery) and look for the file
voesstr.bgl rename that file to voesstr.bck - then the highway is gone.
I wanr to remove the high-voltage line in Voeslau. How is that done?
This is how it works:
Go to the "scenery" folder of the austrianairports 1 (C:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\FSQuality\austrianairports1\scenery) and locate the file vohosp.BGL and rename it to vohosp.bck - then the high voltage line is gone.
In Graz the PAPI indicates an unrealistic glidepath. How can I correct that?
Please load the following file down:
grazlim2.bgl
This file goes to the "scenery" folder of the austrianairports 1
C:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\FSQuality\austrianairports1\scenery
Once the file is copied into that folder (overwrite the existing one), the PAPI is ok.
I have the German Airports 1 sceneries, and therefore want to deaktivate Innsbruck from the Austrianairports?
This is how its done:
Go to the "scenery" folder of the austrianairports 2 (C:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\FSQuality\austrianairports2\scenery) and look for the files

Since I have installed Austrian Airports, I get occasional program crashes of my FS2004. What can I do about that?
